The Orsyx development team is pleased to announce that the first eLab beta site went on-line in March 2004 at the Meuhedet Health Fund laboratory in Rosh Ha'Ayin. Installation, connection to analyzers and bi-directional on-line communication with the Health Fund server proceeded according to plan with only minimal maintenance and supervision required in the first few days.
R & D manager Jonathan Benshaul noted that staff training proceeded smoothly and staff response is enthusiastically positive. The eLab has quickly become part of the lab routine. The encouraging success of the first phase has enabled us to move forward with the expansion of the installation to test a wider range of eLab's
many capabilities.
