ILEX South Africa was established in 1992 as a wholly owned subsidiary of ILEX Medical Ltd. Today ILEX South Africa is one of the major suppliers of IVD products in South Africa with an especially strong emphasis on blood banks and Critical Care products, as well as laboratory information systems (LIS).

The company headquarters are located in Woodmead, Gauteng, with branches in Cape Town and Kwazulu-Natal with additional local representatives in Eastern Cape. Our team of professional service engineers and product specialists enable us to provide country wide coverage to suit your needs.

Our product portfolio encompasses a wide and diverse range of products, from anti sera used in the blood banks, to molecular diagnostic to blood gas analysers for the critical care and ICU departments, while still maintaining our traditional focus on the clinical laboratory.
