Cell-Dyn SMS 


The CELL-DYN SMS™ consistently produces high-quality blood films. Smearing parameters have been optimized, ensuring consistent blood films every time, eliminating the need to make adjustments for samples with significantly high or low hematocrit values. In the closed sampling mode, the 50-position autoloader mixes, identifies the sample, and aspirates only 100µL.

CELL-DYN SMS™ automates all aspects of blood film preparation, combining proven wedge-smear technology with the flexibility of 10 user-definable staining protocols.

Cell-Dyn 4000 


The CELL-DYN 4000 uses the power of multiple technologies to bring new automated parameters to the hematology laboratory. Fluorescent detection of RNA allows for fully-automated, random-access reticulocyte results. Fluorescent DNA staining of nucleated red blood cells ensures accurate white blood cell values and provides a reportable NRBC count. Two-dimensional Optical platelet counts with automatic verification by focused-flow impedance provides enhanced information for platelet analysis. The CELL-DYN 1800 has been developed to continue Abbott Laboratories' commitment to laboratory hematology analyzers. A new instrument for the Erythrocyte Sedimention Rate determination on 20 samples simultaneously.
Walk away: full automation with internal mixing and reading function.
Fast: reading time 20 minutes and 40 minutes.

Ves-matic 30

A new instrument for the Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate determination on 30 samples simultaneously.
Safe: closed system designed with plastic sample collection tube.
Micromethod: the test is performed using only 1 ml of blood.
Reduction of turn-around time: only for Ves-matic 30 a new analytical method has been developed to reduce analysis time to only 10 minutes for the first Westergren hour and to 15 minutes for the second Westergren hour increasing the throughput to 180 samples per hour.
